ABC ID or
Academic Bank of Credits ID is a unique 12-digit identification number assigned to students in India, as part of the National Education Policy to help maintain quality assurance in higher education. Students can use their ABC ID to store, access, and manage their academic credits digitally – across their certificates, diplomas, degrees and any other academic achievement. ABC ID enables centralized record-keeping of credits, facilitates accreditation, simplifies credit transfer across different institutions and thereby supports student mobility, both nationally and internationally.
