In the words of Swami Vivekananda Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man. Religion is the manifestation of divinity already in man. Therefore, the only duty of the teacher in both cases is to remove all obstructions from the way.

According to Rabindranath education is not the filling of a pail, but lighting of a fire. Let shower of light overwhelms us. The highest education is that which does not merely give us information but makes our life in harmony with all existence.

With eyes on these memorable guidelines with mission of nothing impossible Azad Hind Fouz Smriti Mahavidyalaya started its journey on 8th October, 1986. Netaji Shubhash Chandra Bose one of the greatest leaders that the universe has ever produced is our inspiration. We along with his inspiration believe in his philosophy regarding education. He believed in an education system that not only imparted knowledge but also instilled a sense of civic responsibility and nationalism. Netaji's vision for education aimed at nurturing enlightened and empowered citizens who would actively contribute to the nation-building process. Being guided by this noble philosophy too our vision is to create, nurture and promote a society based on love, freedom, liberty, justice, equality, fraternity and fearless education for the students of backward class as well as minority community along with students of all other sections of the society coming mainly from Domjur, Jagatballavpur and Salap.

The college is enriched with immensely qualified and dedicated teachers. Efficient and student friendly non-teaching staff are assets of this college. Obedience, inquisitiveness and regularity of the students portrays their dedication for education. We have an alumni and student union to stretch their hands in every need of the college.
